You Know There's a Serious Problem . . .
. . . with the newborns being tethered to the bassinet. Ordinarily, it's okay for day to day. They do age up quickly to infant. However, I just had a kitchen fire during a party in my game. While the adults were great at gathering up the four toddlers and getting them outside to safety. The wee newborn was stuck in the bassinet, crying buckets and there simply was no way to get them out of the house.
Since the game seems to be in love with fire, IE it occurs more frequently than I would like, we need a better solution to this problem. It would destroy me, were a newborn lost to a fire. I know, I know, newborns cannot be killed. However, isn't there some way you could have an option for an adult to remove the baby from the bassinet, flee outside with it and then replace them into the bassinet when all is safe? Maybe have a menu interaction: In Case of Fire press here.
I know it's a tad tongue-in-cheek but so is this game overall.
