Your longest sims loading screen

Mine takes about 15 minutes on a brand new gaming laptop. It's my own fault though. I have tons and tons of CC and mods.

A minute or so.

Long loading screens can depend on various things:

• Your machine. Does it have a decent processor and GPU in order to run the game?
  
• The save (does it have many playable households in it?) (Start a new save and see if the issue persists).
  
• CC/Mods: Do you have many? 1 or 2 can even be corrupt.(move them to the desktop and see if the game loads faster).
  
• Do you have many screenshots? (take them out and create a back up)
  
• Do you have many videos? (take them out and create a back up)
  
• Do you have a big tray with many lots, rooms, sims in it?
  
• Do you have any Custom Music?
  
• Are you using shaders?
  

The game may need to load all of these items, depending on what you have installed.

Oh that's why my loading times are so small with my cheap laptop... i have this problem, i can't stand having too much mess in my life and that reflects on the game. I can't see my folders too full, i can't see a lot of save files... i have to keep it simple and organized.

I was curious because I just added a bunch of mods and CC. 53 seconds to load the game from start.
Then to load my saved game 17 seconds.
So total 1 min 10 seconds.

Mine is quick like to quick to browse or do anything.. so well under a minute. It seems like older saves with more playable households take longer but I'm always below the recommended limit for population. The screenshots get dumped into another area pretty regularly especially when I notice anything slowing down.

About 3 minutes the longest with a gaming laptop that can hardly handle the game without a laptop mode. Usually loading screens take about one minute. I don't use any mods or cc.

Mine are usually about 10 seconds. The longest would be about 25 seconds. I have a pretty good gaming computer, a couple mods, and only 1 save. Hopefully it stays that way :crosses fingers:

To start the game it’s maybe 1-2 minutes, and once the game is running about 5 seconds for everything else. I have 7 saves, a bit over 6GB of mods & CC, and I’m playing on a gaming laptop.

Less than a minute! but mind you, i only have the base game currently and no mods at all. That should play a part, i assume, as well as the specs of your laptop. Mine is a brand new gaming laptop.

I'm not sure, but the last time I had a Sim travel to another world, it took three hours of in-game time.
