So I don't know about you guys, but if there's one thing I love about playing Sims, it's storytelling. And for me, with storytelling comes the pressure of taking the most meaningful screenshots I can - I want them to be able to tell the story all by themselves. Taken meaningful and aesthetically beautiful screenshots in-game has become so important to me that I actually have to take pictures of everything lol; now, if only I were as good at real life photography. :lol: If there's another thing I love about Sims, it's to go on the forums and look at other Simmers' amazing storylines and screenshots! This got me wondering, what are your most precious and meaningful screenshots? They don't have to be aesthetically beautiful - my first screenshots were all taken with graphics on low - but they can be. If you don't mind sharing, I would love to see some of your all-time favorite screenshots. :blush: I know that there are some other screenshot-focused threads out there, but from what I've seen most tend to focus on the story behind the screenshots. While this is also very interesting, I'd love to have one thread dedicated to the beauty of screenshots themselves, which are not to be underestimated when it comes to storytelling. These were their avatars and I took both of them ( with their permission ) and did a whole story. How do you do that? O: I could only wish to ever take screenshots like that. You have any tips to share? :flushed: Do you use Photoshop? I'm honestly amazed by these pictures. Just wow. On a completely unrelated note, that Sim on your fifth screenshot is really, really handsome lol. By the way, don't hesitate to send more screenshots! This is such a great thread idea! :smile: I'll share a few of mine here, even though they're from a save I have to start over soon. :disappointed:

I never get tired of watching two children grow up together and then fall for each other once they're older. Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic, but I find something so sweet about it. I've mentioned it before in other threads, but I have a huge soft spot for Max Villareal. So it's only logical that he has to fall for one of my sims, and who better than a girl he's known since they were children and one who'll rip him a new one if he pulls anything? :lol:

This screenshot is also pretty meaningful to me because I think it's the most beautiful screenshot I've captured. The sunset, the castle ruins, the lush foliage, the stars peeking through the clouds. :heart: Hopefully I'll have even more meaningful ones to share once I get the new save started. :smile: I've loved seeing everyone's screenshots, too!

@klestrella I like childhood love stories a lot. I always pick out a kid my child sim will marry in advance. Unfortunately, things didn't go to plan this time. My poor sim kept getting rejected by his best friend since toddlerhood!

@klestrella aww that's sweet nothing wrong with being a hopeless romantic..this is why I like so many Hallmark movies heh, I love moments like that though I don't always start with a childhood romance.

@Firande: aww, I wonder why he rejected her? Look at that friendship bar! :open_mouth: It’s things like this that make me wonder if there’s groundwork for an attraction system hidden in the game code. As many townies as I’ve paired with my sims, I’ve come to notice that some sims click and others just don’t. I guess I should count myself lucky that Max falls for my sim without hesitation in every save.

That is crazy how alike they look! Whenever I age him, I have to give him a leather jacket or else it doesn’t seem like Max anymore. Gotta keep up that “bad boy” vibe. :joy:

@RedDestiny92: I almost couldn’t tell that that was Max in your screenshots! His dimples give him away, though. I really love his dimples... :lol:

It’s so weird for me to see him being a player in those screenshots. He’s such a faithful, family-oriented sim whenever I’ve played him. I always pair him with the same sim in my screenshots, and in one save, he unexpectedly got her pregnant very young. Considering the circumstances and his evil trait, I figured it’d take him a while to wish it, but he ended up rolling the whim to propose to her the instant he held their son in his arms for the first time. I almost couldn’t handle it, it was SO cute! :heart:

Anyway, I definitely need to pop back in here once I have screenshots from the new save. Also, thanks for all the likes and awesomes! I didn’t expect to get so many! :smile:

A dear friend of mine made a character who is a charming psychopath. I decided to turn them into a Sim and have them in the Detective career. Their favourite part of the job seems to be interrogating criminals. Here, the guilty Sim realises his fate and has an "Oh plum!" moment.

@klestrella Yeah, I was shocked when he rejected her! The first time I tried for a romantic interaction, they were at my Sim's favorite spot in the city and it was all pretty romantic - I chose for her to embrace him, which, well, might not have been the best choice there but I thought it'd be cute (and really wanted to take a cute picture, mostly :lol:)... he rejected her. She accepted it; then a few weeks later, she tried for a harmless flirtatious joke as they hung out together at the park. And she was again rejected. But I don't hate it... it does make for an even nicer storyline in my opinion, where my Sim is in love with her childhood best friend but he doesn't love her back. So tragic lol.

This is not the first time I've had Sims with incredibly high friendship bar reject romantic interactions... it'd be awesome if there was actually something along the lines of an attraction system. That's one of the things I really miss in TS4.

Same! I chose that jacket and hairstyle with the exact same intention of keeping up his bad boy persona. And that hairstyle looks really good on him, too. Awesome that we had the same thoughts there! :)
