How does everyone plan to start their new save when the pack comes out? I'm thinking of starting with a king and queen...their son prince and his wife princess and their child son who will be heir. I never start new save with 5 sims but I think its not really a "rags to riches" type pack. I'm excited about the builds/castles/palaces. Do you think we will get more fun types of staircases?!??! (excited for the trailer in the morning)
I change saves regularly so (if I do get the pack) it could be anything from a fantasy dynasty, a historical one, or a modern one. Could even make characters from ASOIAF (not GOT, I'm not going there) as I have done so many times before.
I'm not sure yet how I'll want to test out the pack. Probably know better after the gameplay trailer. I always start a new save to test out a new pack, I'm just not sure how much I'll set up for it (Last time I did a major set up, I got hit with a bug that wiped it all out.)
Though, knowing me, I'll probably do a family of Spellcasters and set up a Magical Realm
I have one unattached sim in my rotation, Isabel, so maybe she'll move to the new world, meet and marry a royal.

I'll probably play one of the premade households in the new world for this one.
Might sound mad but am doing a royal legacy line of the Pancakes just for amusement see if can beef them up in few generations or might go for broke with new save
This pack will so help my Royal Families across my Timeline Game Saves.
I already play legacy, so I'll just slap it into the life of the current heir and keep it moving. However I always delete every townie in the world and replace it with all my presets and I just don't know which 3 families to make into royals.
The website mentioned a magic mirror, a frog, and a glass slipper so maybe I should just make Cinderella, Tiana, and Aurora?
If a royal can exist in any world, I wonder if I could slap one in Desert Oasis, Mt.Kobereri and Windenburg?
I considered making the Landgraab or Judith Ward royals, but I just don't feel like they fit. I have Zeus and Hera in my world and Zeus would be perfect for all the scandalous gossip, but I made him a spellcastor and I don't know how that would fare, I wish he would abuse his untamed magic but the system probably won't even acknowledge spellcastors. I'd have to see how weird it would be to make him a royal and what the actual system considers scandalous.
I definitely want to make the Landgraabs into a Dynasty. Maybe have Malcolm marry royalty or at least scheme to do so.
Originally I though this pack's focus was royals, but now it seems the bigger focus is on dynasties/nobility fighting their way up to the top level. So, maybe this pack will be just as much for my dukes and barons. I thought all 3 dynasties in those 3 new hoods had one kingdom each, but they obviusly don't. So, I don't quite get it why they sit on a throne... I do not plan thrones for my barons...
Years ago I created a Tudors challenge for myself with Henry VIII and all his wives trying for male heirs. I may try that again with the royal pack, but I'm also tempted to use my current legacy (descendants of my fairy Sim and Paka'a Uha of Sulani) and have one of the mermaids or fairies discover they're the heir to some royal dynasty and go from there (if that's possible). 🧜♂️👸
