Hey everyone!
I’m having a weird issue with Pierisim custom content - specifically the wallpapers. Sometimes they load normally and everything looks fine, but out of nowhere they turn into giant question marks with a rainbow background. Yesterday everything worked perfectly, and today it’s suddenly broken.
Has anyone dealt with this before? What causes it and how do I fix it?
pineapple75 Often this means you're on DX11 and the wallpaper wasn't updated for that. You can run a batch fix, I believe, in Sims 4 Studio, or just use other CC that's been more supported by its creator.
Many thanks! Can you recommend cc creators that fit? I haven't been able to find creators who make wallpapers and other build items. Furniture is pretty easy to find, but build stuff seems pretty rare from what I’ve seen
pineapple75 I use build mode from these creators, among others (but not a lot of walls, personally): peacemaker, amoebae's ceilings, SurelySims. I've got some cherryberry walls too.
