action bar not showing then turns into grey and blue squares and missing sim pic

So, my Sims action bar disappears for no reason, and their moodlets start glitching If I travel anywhere, the moodlets turn grey and blue. I use mods and umod manager, but from what I've checked, no mods need to be updated. (I forgot to take the missing side bar screenshot, but I got this one.) I have also taken out localthumbcache.package and reloaded the game, but it's not fixed, I have also repaired the game with mods and without, uninstalled it and reinstalled it, then again repaired it. But same problem every time, If there are any known mods that are broken at the moment, please let me know if you have a way to fix this problem.

The culprit is probably a broken mod, which is modifying your user interface (UI). We've seen similar issues pretty often in the past.

When UI mods are outdated, several common issues may occur for you:

    • Random pink circles
    • The HUD (top and bottom bars) completely disappearing
    • Glitched Sim Info panels
    • Strange CAS UI like blank items or appearing too stretched out
    • Glitched Build/Buy interface
    • Disappearing action queue or moodlets with blank/blue squares

Here is a small list of Mods that could be the possible cause of your UI issue:

    • UI Cheats and More Columns in CAS
    • Traits, careers, aspirations and skills
    • Career and School Mods
    • CC Wrench Hiders and the like
    • Color Slider mods
    • Clean UI, TOOL & Better Build Buy
    • Custom Clubs
    • Darkmode and PlumFruit

Please note, that this is only the tip of the iceberg. Of course the issue could also be caused by any other mod with similar functionality.

If you are experiencing any of the above issues with your user interface, remove any of the types of mods listed above, and check for updates from their respective creators.

Using @luthienrising`s "Broken/Obsolete and Updated Sims 4 Mods" list here on AHQ will help you a lot >> link

If no updates are available for the current game version, you will have to leave the mod out of your game for the time being.

To be sure the issue is mod related, you might also test your game without mods. Move your mods to a save location, delete the localthumbcache.package and see if the error still occurs. Don't save your game while testing without mods!
