Actor Sim can’t call for new gig
Every time I click the button to schedule new gig, the action queues up but then immediately cancels.

@maurakat02 Are you using mods/cc in your game ? If so, please test without them.
If you're not, try canceling the career and entering again. The Sim will loose a level but you can just cheat that back up.
