I just found this out last night! If I had known I wouldn't have saved...

This caught my eye because there's currently an adoption discussion going on in MC's comments thread, check out page 212 if you're interested.

MCCC makes it so they at least get adopted by other sims in your neighborhood but it does not make them go to closest relative. I go to house when it tells me they got adopted and try to track down relatives to move them in with.
