@Real_Silent_Yeti Since you had mods in at the time this happened, it's a bit hard to tell if it would happen without. Probably hard to replicate but do you have any backups from before it happened ?

Do you remember which Sim was active at the time of the proposal ? There have been issues before where the Sim wanted to advance the relationship to the active Sim instead of the one intended but I haven't seen reports for this in a while.
