I literally can’t have pets in game without this mod, I removed it from my mods folder before the update because it affects family trees etc.
I was just wondering does anybody have this currently installed and is it causing issues, I’ve noticed the mod hasn’t been updated since 2023.
anaoisecraigd Have you tested with only Selectable Pets in your Mods folder? Also, are you using the AOM mod or the CharityCodes mod (Selectable Pets Always)? AOM Playable Pets (Selectable Pets) was updated last summer.
If you're talking about mine, then I don't have any issues. The pets do not have family trees anymore. They used to, but the new update makes it so they don't have them. I don't see any effect on regular sims family trees though. It hasn't been updated because I haven't seen anything that needs fixing. The only thing the mod does is enable a cheat that is already part of the game. This is a dev cheat and not normally available unless you use a mod to unlock it. It runs the cheat command when the game loads. That's all it does.
