All in retail shop stuck

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? current
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Using snowy escape world
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Creating and running a retail lot
What happens when the bug occurs? I've built a retail lot in Snowy Escape, added in all necessary elements. I've tried selling various food/beverage on various surfaces - no on including my sim can access the goods. They all act like something is in the way preventing them from purchasing.

  • Is you Sim running the Store or is it a lot you set up as a unplayed retail lot? Obvious question: Have you set items as "for sale" while in "Live" mode?

I see you have a pizza in the case. Is that a pizza your Sim made with the Home Chef Hustle pizza maker or one you ordered?

The tea maker looks like it has tea in it. Are you trying to sell cups of tea? Or the tea maker?

  • @mcminnie94 Does it work if you use one of the premade stores or do you also have issues with them ? Does this store work in another world ?

Is it just the food you have issues with or also if you try sell other things ?

I made the pizza and set it for sale, along with the tea. I’ll try setting this up in a different world and see if that’s the problem. I realize this was originally a residential lot that I made commercial.

  • So I’ve moved the business to Magnolia Promenade and it’s the same issue! I’m trying to sell other  objects but not much luck

So they can buy furniture but not tea?? I’m thinking because they can’t access it? But it’s on a counter?

@mcminnie94 It's possible that it's not working since there's multiple servings. Did you set the tea for sale or the machine ?
  • oh wow! How do you differentiate what’s for sale between the machine and the tea itself?

@mcminnie94 did you click sale on the machine or on the cups ? Could be as @DizzyDee-K pointed out that you can't see the machine while you made tea but it won't recognize the tea as single items either so it's getting confused

If you've made tea in the tea maker and then set it for sale with the prepared tea still in it, that may be why your Sims are glitching. Sims are pushed to grab a cup, but prevented from getting one because the tea maker has been locked behind the for sale mechanism.

If you want to try selling individual cups of tea:

    Make the tea

Have your Sim grab a cup and immediately cancel them drinking it

As soon as they set it down mark it for sale

Put the cup in the display

Will this work? Maybe. I don't know if Sims will be pushed to buy a single cup of tea. Sims build interest the longer they're in the store and the more your Sim uses the retail interactions on them.

Once you've made the tea and set the cups for sale, you should put the tea maker somewhere that is inaccessible to customers. Otherwise Sims will just make their own tea.
