Marketplace update broke The Sims 4

I’ve been playing The Sims since the original game came out back in 2001. This whole “update” model you guys have come up with is just horrible but never has an update broken my game as much as this latest “Marketplace” update you sharks came up with to squeeze every last penny out of this outdated game. My game now only “loads” to what looks like it should be the main menu, the background is completely black and the few icons visible are not even clickable. I have waited patiently for the developers to fix this massive error on their own, but it’s been weeks now and still nothing. So last night I finally uninstalled and reinstalled the game on my PC and it still is having the exact same issues. After being a dedicated Sims player for this long and sharing it with my kids and now they love it too, I have never been so utterly disappointed in the way in which a once amazing PC game has devolved into nothing but some kind of pay to play scheme. The Sims 4 SUCKS now and I probably won’t be playing this crap game ever again! Way to go developers, you’ve just lost one of your longest playing customers as well as my 4 children, from which you’ll never see a dime. You all got greedy and your greed has ruined your product.
