All My Sims Are Gone

I was downloading some new mods (Better Exceptions, TOOL, redownloading UI Cheats) so I was opening and closing my game a lot to deal with the things Better Exceptions was telling me needed to be fixed. Finally, when I was done I opened my game and loaded my world and house and all my sims were gone. The house was there but there were no sims. I looked at other houses and worlds and it seems that ALL the sims in every world (the ones I made and NPCs) are gone. I got rid of all my mods but the problem is still happening.

    @crinrict  I didn't you could go into your files and find an old save! Thank you so much! I have been working on this save for close to 4 years now (100 Baby Challenge) and if I had lost it it genuinely would have been soul-crushing. I cannot thank you enough! <3

    If anyone else has this problem, I figured out it was Kawaii Stacy's Slice of Life mod that was causing the problem! Taking out the mod doesn't fix it, it completely ruins the save file, so take out the mod and then go to a backup save.

    @dragonpickle29 Glad to hear that you were able to recover an old save and that you found the culprit.

    Check if the mod was updated and if not, maybe let the creator know if they don't know yet.
