All of my previously downloaded cc is corrupted after I moved sims

i moved my sims file and now my previously downloaded cc is all corrupted, help I moved my sims file onto another drive with steam. I needed to get my mods onto the drive too so i followed a tutoria...

@katzrcute Remove the Mods folder you added and delete the localthumbcache file. Start the game to let it make its own Mods folder. You can use this method to see where to find it now: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/ You can now try copying individual files into the new Mods folder, ideally from your earlier storage, not the folder that said the files were corrupt.

If you do have to restart, I really recommend downloading only what you're going to use immediately.
