@katzrcute Remove the Mods folder you added and delete the localthumbcache file. Start the game to let it make its own Mods folder. You can use this method to see where to find it now: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/ You can now try copying individual files into the new Mods folder, ideally from your earlier storage, not the folder that said the files were corrupt.
If you do have to restart, I really recommend downloading only what you're going to use immediately.
