Have you tried moving your mods folder and running the game without mods to see if you still have the problem? This sounds like a mod issue. If the game runs normally without your mods in, then it's a mod causing the problem. Then you'll have to hunt down the problem file.
If the game still has the issue without mods in, then try repairing the game through Origin.
