I was having the same error; after some trial and error it was because my sim had the Untroubled trait from one of the teenage aspirations. Once I got rid of it rebirth started working fine

@AceTheEpic HI, thank you for the method you provided. I used the method you provided, but it still cannot solve my problem. I still cannot regenerate normally. I have reported the problem to the official for processing.
