Anyone else still having aging issues?

I don't use mods so it's the game that shortened my sims lifespans. I also don't think it has anything to do with just adding days because it's happening in the saved games I did not play until the patch mess was over. I'm making fixes as I go along, mainly if the parents are too young (YA at beginning of span) to have teens I make then adults. And I will most definitely age up any toddlers that have achieved level 3 in all their skills but for some wierd reason are now at the beginning of their lifespan. The rest well c'est la vie.
