BluebellfloraI did test a clean Sims 4 folder and the new game appears to work fine. However, when I go to delete the new save / copy an old save into the folder (Step 3.1 in the instructions), it isn't running the old save. Am I correct in understanding that even though the old save isn't visible in the game, I should go and re-download all mods I had been using previously and THEN run it again to see if that works?
EDIT:
I did redownload all mods and the older saves are still not pulling. The only option I am presented with is starting a new game.

catbaker89 what do you mean by "it isn't running the old save"? That the save doesn't show up at the main menu or that you click play to load it from the main menu but it never loads, you have an infinite loading screen?

No, absolutely not. You need to get your save working in a clean vanilla game before even attempting to reinstall your Mods. Unless you have Mods installed that the save depends on to load?

Thanks for the response. In both scenarios, the save doesn't show up in the main menu. It only allows me to select "New Game" and the "Load Game" option doesn't appear at all.

BluebellfloraIt's still not working. When I go into the OLD file, that does show I have saved game to load but then when I click to play, it takes me to a brand new Worlds view to create a family and move in. This is without any mods. The Screen with the "W"s that I had in my original post remains in that old file. Could there be an issue somewhere other than my mods folder??
