Can't use mods & CC

Hi guys, so my problem is I got a new laptop and decided to download Sims 4 again after ages. I used to always play with mods for creating characters and finished lots. So I have knowledge about sorting and implementing them. However this time when I downloaded it, only my old mods were shown even though I did not have some of them in my folder. So I tried many ways to fix it like reinstalling Sims 4 and moving my Mods folder and then readding it. Now my Sims 4 isn't showing any mods despite having the cc&mods function enabled. Turned it off and on multiple times but nothing is working. One thing to note is that I downloaded Sims 4 mods manager this time but that was another problem on it's own. I thought that might have been an issue but I've deleted it already and only used it while I was collecting mods and didn't touch Sims 4 during that time. I watched and read lots of videos and posts to figure out what my problem is, tried everything. I really want to get this to work because I spent so mch time gathering and sorting my mods. Also I don't feel like playing Sims 4 without them. I would be grateful if anyone could help me.

    Thank you for the reply!
My brother in law managed to fix it. The Problem was that I put the Mods folder in my Sims 4 folder under Windows>Programs>EA Games>The Sims 4 instead of Onedrive>documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4.

  • Please do this:

    1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
    2. Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save. If you see mods and previous saves, please let me know
    3. Exit. You now can open Document > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods and install mods in that folder. Be sure to extract them and then delete the zip or rar files. See How to Use Mods and CC

oh is it very necessarily to remove Sims from my OneDrive? I don't think it's a problem. Also I have another problem regarding Cheats do you maybe know how I could solve it? When I try to type in testingcheats on/enable/true nothing happens and I can't use other codes such as motherlode or kaching. The typebar appears without a problem but the commands don't work
