Birthday in calendar moves & Sim cannot age up/have a party

My sims birthday has been due and I was waiting for the day to throw her a party... the day came but when I tried to throw a party I could select any other sim in my household but not the sim who was due to age up. 
I checked the calendar and now my sims birthday has moved to the next day... so again the day came but same problem I couldn’t throw her a party. 

Anybody else have a problem like this? Her birthday seems to just keep moving along a day & I want to throw her a party but I can’t 😢
