Hi! I had this problem too and I figured out it was one of thepancake mods, I took out the remove sims from conversation mod and the newest update of the color slider mod, I’m guessing it was the remove from conversation one since that one hasn’t been updated since July, that got it to go past the black screen with cursor. Hope this is able to help you guys and good luck!
carsmith2001 Remove Sims from Conversation hasn't needed an update - it's fine. Color Sliders is often broken by game patches and has been updated. See the broken/updated mods thread linked in the "START HERE" post.
