Blast from the Past Week 3 Pep Talk Not Showing

Just started the "On the Hunt" part of this week's event, and the first task says to give yourself a pep talk in the mirror.  When looking at any walkthrough, it shows an option with the special icon...

    I moved my mods folder out (deleted localthumbcache) and opened a new vanilla save. I was able to do it then.

I hate to say it, but I tried what (Ladybug_COB ) did and it worked. I noticed that since each objective has the "blast from the past icon" on it, just doing the task won't allow you to move forward. I took out my moods folder and opened the game with a new save (no mods) and I was able to complete the task for week 3.
