About This Thread NOTE: This thread also covers the December 14, 2023 game update to 1.103.315. This thread tracks Sims 4 mods and CC that have been "broken" or made obsolete by game updates or declared unsupported by their creators. It also tracks updated game mods and non-cosmetic updates to custom content. If you use mods, this thread's lists and ongoing reports can help you prevent game errors and help you avoid having to do a 50-50 of all your mods. Some things are NOT covered: early-access content translations (except where translations were broken), spelling changes, new recipes, and some other very minor changes new add-ons and new separate versions of mods various creators or mods because of the T (for Teen) game rating, EA and Answers HQ rules, and the Maxis guidelines for Sims 4 content creators Mods are not linked here, but if it could be easy to find an outdated version of a particular mod instead of a new update in an internet search, I provide direction on what site to download from. In the end, YOU are responsible for your mod use. Read the FAQ about mod use in the Resources list below. Keep a back-up copy of your Saves folder. Read each mod's installation instructions. Organize your Mods folder (but don't move mods you downloaded using the CurseForge app). Delete old mods before you replace them with updated ones. Follow creators to get direct news from them. Don't download other players' mod folders or merge mods. Customer-service NPCs (such as bartenders, librarians) not spawning at venues and not hirable and you own Get Famous. This is not caused by mods. It’s a bug that occurs when “Sims Begin Opted Out of Fame” is selected in Gameplay Options. WORKAROUND: Untick the box, load the venue to let the NPC generate at their workplace, then you can tick the box again.
