I honestly don't know whether it was the updated Paulson mod.
It was reported in the German forums last night from those who were checking out the new EP. I don't use that mod myself as I use my own townie generation mod, but you couldn't play at all with the version that has not been updated so I suppose the issue was with the updated version, otherwise it could not have been reported. I didn't intend to report that mod broken, though, just give some input for the person reporting their issue on how to possibly solve it.
RootCause reported the same issue so it seems to be the updated version.
