Bugs and Glitches after downloading High School Years

I have been playing with the same family for over three years now, and since downloading High School Years my game has been soooo messed up. For starters, I'm unable to go to school with my sims or do other school activities (which defeats the purpose of even buying the game). I was also given two Cooperdales for some reason so anything changed in one of the Cooperdales doesn't transfer over to the other. Besides not being able to play with this new pack, it's caused the rest of my game to glitch including not letting my sims go to work/school at all, their performances being ruined because they're unable to go to school/work, their needs don't adjust properly so they keep passing out or peeing themselves out of nowhere, and other small bugs and issues happening frequently. At this point, I'm really unable to play properly and I am upset that I lost $43 when I can't use the pack and all it did was destroy my game. 

I've tried repairing, restarting, updating, going through my saved files, and contacted live support which hasn't been of help at all. I'm not sure what else to do and I really just want my game to not be bugged anymore.

    That sucks and I'm sorry to hear you are having so much trouble since installing HSY pack. ☹️

    Did you back up your saves? If you did then best option would be to uninstall the new pack and play from in a previous save. At least then you can keep playing and hopefully enjoy your game glitch free.

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

    @jpkarlsen That fixed it!!!!!! Thank you so much. The only issue I have left is that I still have two Cooperdales. I can play the game fine but do you know how I could fix that?

    hey! i was wondering if you could help me out, i got the high school years pack today and i cant pick up, hug my pets and my sims cant travel and they keep on doing this weird pose

    Hi @mariuks31 . On the weird pose part, "T-posing" is HSY gameplay, so make sure that deliberate T-posing by Teens isn't what you're seeing.

    Otherwise, it sounds like you've got some outdated mods. Check Broken/Updated Mods to start with, and if that doesn't help, you may need to do a 50-50 of your mods. You might also want to look at the previous set of mods lists, from when Horse Ranch was released, as some mods updated or broken at that time had symptoms related to pets or travel.
