build mode being odd

@MollyHines47 Do you have any background programs running that cause an overlay such as Discord ?

    It does sound a bit like a background program interfering to me.

    Have you tried a clean boot ? https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/ If it works in that mode, then it's a background program interfering and you will need to find out which one.

        @MollyHines47 Did you figure out which program was interfering ? Clean boot is basically a temporary measure.
