BUILD\BUY TAB DOESNT SHOW OBJECTS MAY 2024

@danna3321 Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. The patch definitely broke some mods, but not all reports will be in already.

@danna3321 If it's not working with no mods or CC, try a Game Repair.

Hi, I just recently updated my game for the newst Sims 4 update. When I go into buildmode, I am unable to see any of my furniture or CC. And this is on the bottom right corner, I have tried to click and get rid of it but I am unable to select anything on the filter drop down at all...nothing will pop up. I have CC and mods activated also

So after the most recent update, when I go into build mode, nothing shows up. all of the categories are just empty, I updated all of my mods. I've tried closing and reopening my game, I've tried restarting my PC , updated all my mods but nothing is working and it's very frustrating

I'm about done with this game, and ready to cry. No matter what I do, when I enter build mode there seems to be a filter called "..." with the word "ems.." beside it. I went on reddit about this problem, and the mods people say are the problem aren't in my game. I've tried everything, and when I remove my mods folder from the game the problem is gone, but I cant bear to delete my cc, because I've spent almost a year collecting it. I begged my mom to let me stay home today because I have an emotionally and physically draining cold, and she said yes. The Sims 4 was all I wanted to play, and now I can't even do that. Someone please help me, I'm desperate at this point.

I am so happy and yet mad that I'm not that the only one. I put in a report and haven't heard anything. I updated my mods and even turned them off, and the objects still aren't showing up. I even repaired the game and everything. I hope EA fixes this ASAP

As soon as I click an object in build mode nothing is showing up on the menu and I can’t see any of the items. Was working fine before but now after the update it’s doing this. Also the pack dropdown is showing “…” in a white box and “ems…” next to it (which I’m guessing says items but it’s covered by the white box) and when I click this nothing happens. Yes, I’ve restarted my game. Yes, my mods are up to date.

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

After the update on Tuesday (5/28/2024), I can go into build mode, but I cannot see or choose any items in build mode. 

furthermore, when I try to turn off my mods in game, I cannot exit the settings page unless I force shutdown my computer. I deleted every mod I know is not yet updated or could be effecting these glitched areas, but it has not remedied. 

i tried to repair the game as well; did nothing. I do not know if this is a mod dilemma or a system failure, and it appears my system will not allow me to find out which. So I wanted to come on here and see if anyone else is having this problem or may have other tips to offer.
