Butler issues

Question

So I have a butler and he actually does butlery things, but I can not get him to cook when asked.

The oddest thing is that he doesn't seem to wake up by himself. I can send him to bed with the rest, and he will only wake when a sim wakes him. Since I do run MCCC I was wondering if it's related? Is there a mod setting I'm missing or should I do this whole thing without a mod and make a bug report?

/as work-around I put an audio device in his room so no sim needs to physically enter his room anymore, but it's still very odd

I tested a bit further, it's doing anything requested. But, to be fair, this is a lot where he is actually busy a lot of the time, so I'm unsure if my timing is unlucky or a bug at this point. He did cook one party meal all by himself.

I'm still confused on the sleep tho. If you send a butler to bed, do you need to wake them up too?

ETA: I just played a bit and he does the 'take money from being assigned cooking but not actually cook while otherwise idle' with the 'could not carry out requested task' notification. I ~~can~~ added a post to the bug report.

@tigrina_tigs  I've never really used the butler. Maybe someone else can answer the sleep question.

Thanks for the heads up!Alas, I accidentally deleted the save, so no more trial for me.
