For some reason I can’t adopt. I can’t use my phone because the option doesn’t come up under “hire a service.” On the computer, EVERYTIME I click on it, it just goes away. The option doesn’t come up at the library either. I did have cheats activated, but I turned them off and it still didn’t help. I’m not sure if that’s why. Please help!

There are conditions that must be met in order to adopt a child.
1. be a Sim who is at least the age of Young Adult
2. the number of people in the household must be adequate
(A household can have a maximum of 8 people, including pets)
Do you meet these requirements?
And adoption from phone requires Cats & Dogs expansion pack.

@Pick-a-boo_doo It def used to be there but might be broken since C&D came out
EDIT: Just checked my game again and adoption works fine for me through the computer without C&D
