Can’t complete date goal

Hi, I have an issue with dates in sims 4, my married sims both have the Soulmate aspiration and I cannot complete any date goals in the aspiration because the tasks in the date do not actually go towards the counter so all the dates just end unsuccessfully even after completing all the tasks. I’m not sure if this can be fixed for me because I’m playing on my iPad with the Xbox game pass so I’m not really on a console or PC, I also only have basegame and obviously no CC
