Can’t join a career sims 4

Every time I want to join a career this shows up and when I try a second time nothing shows up at all

@maxfennema , it isn't the localthumbcache.package file that is the problem, per se -- but it is what can be inside that file that is the problem! If you delete this file, it is supposed to create a new file with that name, but without the data that was in the old file that you deleted.😉 The reason you need to delete this file when you are having problems with your Mods/CC is because even if you delete outdated Mods or CC, bits of corrupted data can remain in the localthumbcache.package file ! 🤨😓 This is why deleting this file is necessary! 🙂

So, please follow the instructions that @Idiosyncratic53 suggested! 😇

@maxfennema Do you play with mods? If so, I'd check they're all up to date and delete your localthumbcache file. If you don't use mods, I'd reccomend repairing your game and seeing if that helps

If I delete the local thumbnail it just goes back to the place where it was

my sims 4 where it say join career is faded out i already doone what can to fix the issue but still faded out so how do fix it

@abia2010 Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
