Cannot make food from cottage living to wedding cakes in new wedding pack

Since downloading the new wedding stories and downloading the new patch, my sim cannot make food from cottage living, when I select one of the cottage living food, my sim starts preparing it but halfway though it comes up with the action that she can’t do it. I try resting my sim and the object but this does nothing. I also tried to make cupcakes wedding cake but it did the same thing. Other food appears to be working tho.
