Can't access CAS after july 23 patch

Since I uploaded the game (the july 23th patch) I can't access CAS. I can't start a new save. When I try to start a new save, the screen just goes white and stays like that, for what feels like forev...

    As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

    What do I do next? Put files from the original folder in the new folder?

      Test your mods and cc first, in batches, to figure out what's causing the problem.  A few mods are known to cause this particular issue:

      But that's not an exhaustive list by any means, so you'll need to test or replace (or stop using) everything in the Mods folder.

      Once you've sorted through your mods and cc, you can move over the contents of saves, Tray, maybe Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those, plus the UserSetting.ini file for the login rewards.  The rest can be discarded—the game will recreate the files as necessary.
