Can't click in build mode/see aspirations/etc

This is happening to me too but with more, i can't see aspirations, needs, simology, nothing comes up after i click into build mode, after about 30 seconds of gaming (which loads fine) i can't save and have to open task mamager to force close the programe. 

I've tried offline mode. I've repaired the game multiple times, removed cache which doesn't help. I haven't tried removall my mods and cc yet as they have been updated since the EA life&death update. What else should i do? (Other than remove mods and cc)
