Can't Connect to Gallery

This has been going on for, I'd say, the past year. First, my gallery had red X's over the images, a few months pass, and suddenly it won't connect to the online gallery but I can still access things that I have already downloaded, NOW, I can't even access things that I have already downloaded (ex. I can't open my gallery in CAS and get one of my saved sims). I've made sure Origin and Sims has all permissions and access through my anti-virus, I've ran Sims as administrator, I've made sure that my Origin account isn't accidentally set to an underage date of birth, I've deleted the cache and repaired game files after doing so, I've done everything that I could think of to do, but nothing seems to work. I'm afraid that I've left the problem unsolved for so long, that it's just unfixable now, but I'd still like to try because, at this point, it's  EXTREMELY annoying that I can't even open the gallery to even get to sims that I've downloaded and add them to my household now.

Need a bit more info to help you so can you answer the questions below please?

    Can you open your library?

When you try to open the Gallery, do you get the Connect to Gallery prompt?

What system are you running on - PC, Mac, or one of the consoles?  If on PC or Mac, are you using mods and CC?

    Hope this helps.

I can open my library, but only in the start menu screen.

Yes, I do get the prompt. It tells me that it's unable to connect to the internet.

I'm on PC and no. I just redownloaded the Sims 4 + my expansions and started it up before putting any of my mods and cc in and it still didn't load up the gallery.
