Cant cook after Cottage Living installed
My sims cant cook any meals even on the barbeque

I’ve noticed that this issue occurs on some lots in the cottage living expansion map.Check if you can cook in other lots in the same map.When i switched my lot,my sim was able to cook,but the previous lots still had the same issue.I hope they fix this in a later update.

I literally decided to opt to play on a different map and I wanted to see if I can get the wild fox trait. When I went into edit traits, I saw Simple Living requires you to have the ingredients to cook!!!
TOOK IT OFF THE LOTS AND BAM WORKED.
(Really glad I wasn't the only one struggling with this!)
