im just now finding this post so ill just put this out here for someone else to hopefully find. maybe itll help you now.
in build mode when youre using the select tool you can select rooms. idk how exactly to do it i just click on an area inside the room and arrows pop up letting me adjust the size. use these arrows to adjust room sizes and the foundation size with it.
