I create a sim, choose a world and lot to live in, the loading screen appears as usual, but one loaded takes me back to the world screen, I'll try again and it repeats. My app is up to date on all updates, its been well over a month that this has been occurring, and nothing works, restarting, refreshing, turning my computer on and off, nothing.
Are you a mod user? The August 2025 patch (1.117) broke many, many script mods, with this being the symptom, and these are still the ones most likely to be your problem. Use the Previously Broken mods and CC for many (not all!) mods that have no updates. Use “Updated” in the Broken/Updated Mods list for patch 1.117 as a second starting point, but note many were updated for patch 1.118 and/or are not yet cleared in the current list (for links, see Mod & CC Issues: START HERE).
