cant find sims 4 in my electronic arts folder

ive been wanting to get some sims 4 cc into my game, but every tutorial i watch on youtube talks about going into the documents folder (which im also missing??) and then electronic arts -> sims 4 and to the mods folder, but for me, i dont have sims 4 in my electronic arts folder. rather its like: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

im really confused because i dont understand why i have two EA desktop folders and I've also tried going through C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin to find no mods folder or tray folder and such and im really lost on what else to do 😞 although i do have a folder named 'res' in the bin folder and it contains the resource.cfg i heard i need? except im not rlly sure
