Can't get to resistance bunker in Sims 4 Batuu

I am trying to get through the resistance outpost security door in the Sims 4 Batuu. I can't get through even though I am a Level 2 Recruit. I cannot slice through the door because I'm in the resistance. I cannot ask my sim to 'go here' through the door into the lobby or downstairs to the holotable because they don't do it and a thought bubble goes up on top of their head showing the door. I've attached an image. Does anyone know what to do?
