As the title says. If you have had this problem, hopefully I can help.
What happens is that the Sims can still garden. The flowers and vegetables etc. still produce flowers and vegetables etc. when they are in a garden. But none of the wild plants will produce anything, no matter how many days you wait.
After hours of going through my CC, I found these two were the culprits, so if you have these, you might want to delete them:

Those are some really old versions. I'm surprised they lasted so long as they'd have been missing all sorts of code from a lot of updates and packs. You can find the current version of TPS's mod at gettps, Gardening for All Seasons, on Mod the Sims. My own gardening mods (luthienrising, on Curseforge) are current for patch 1.115 but not yet updated for 1.116. I'm hoping to have that done by the end of the week. Mine and TPS's both do all seasons but I have some additional options if you want those. (I don't do an all-seasons-only so as not to have two identical mods out there!)

Thank you for the info. Yeah I seem to have quite a few old ones. But it also seems I have to do further searching for old ones, as there are still some things not fruiting. I got the pineapples and coconuts back in Sulani, but I can't get the wild cherries or snapdragons back in Brindleton. I will have to go around the other neighbourhoods and see if there are other plants that are not producing.

Well I had to take out the remaining TPS-GFAS mods, they turned out to be the remaining problem. I will look at downloading updates later! :)
