Can't play any households.

I recently started playing The Sims again after taking a break for a few months. I used a house from the gallery and spent hours redoing everything inside of it, just for it to completely disappear after going back to the other worlds even after I saved my game. I tried again, this time I saved multiple times before I closed out of the game completely, and when I decided to play again, the house was gone. I tried repairing the game, uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn't work either. I can't even play any of the households new or current either. Every time I click on a household and hit play, it loads for a few seconds then kicks me back out to all the other worlds, every single time.
