Cant see inside vacation rental

I built a vacation rental lot in Oasis Springs and when I tried to play a sim there I can't go inside, my sim can but I can't see inside. I can't go up or down floors, I can't put the walls down, clicking my sim doesn't bring me to them. I can click on things in/around the building and make my sim interact. I've tried restarting, switching the lot type, tried playing a different household in the lot, tried playing a different household at a different lot for a few minutes and then returning, I tried bulldozing the lot and placing it there again but nothing has worked. I can access everything in build mode but not when I go live
