Can't use elevator

Question

Hello, Im having problems with sims 4. My sim cannot leave using the elevator in her apartments. I currently have no mods in my folder. I tried everything and the only way I can leave is if I teleport away. Please help

@MzKiaara There's a few things that can cause this. Do you have any items outside the building (right outside) that could be blocking ? Such as bikes or trash plants for example.

Other known issues are seeds packs that spawn in the elevator after harvest fest and something else I just can't seem to recall right now. I'll check on that if none of the others apply to you :D

Okay! So I check the hallway in the apartments and nothing is in front of the door. I can’t see inside the elevator unfortunately. Now I did go outside and noticed two piles of snow down there. But I can’t shovel it. It will not let me. Do you know a way I can get the snow to disappear ?&nbsp;

@MzKiaara  That's probably the reason why. Do you have winter rn ? It's probably in a very bad position to shovel. You might need to wait till spring.
