Initial issue was that the game would crash and everything would freeze - all the sims and the time would be stuck but I could still move the camera around, go into the menu, etc. Then would get stuck on a perpetual load screen when trying to Save or Manage Worlds. Totally uninstalled and reinstalled without any CC or mods, and went back in and same issue.

Now, I can get into the household via manage households, I can get into the lot via build mode, but as soon as I attempt to play the Sims in the household, I get a blue loading screen with the load music, then hear the sound normally heard when entering the game (I'll call it the "fanfare") but then the blue screen continues on and the game does not load. 

Attempted loading the home and family into a new save from the gallery and the same issue is happening. Went back and tried to pull in an old version but still same issue. Trying to figure out what's wrong.

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.


Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
