CC and Mods corrupted

Last week after the last updated for sims 4 came out I also updated my Mac to the most recent iOS. Before the updated my game played just fine with no issues, after the update all of my mods are now ...

    Macs don't run iOS, that's the operating system on iPhones. Macs run macOS.

    Did you also trash the localthumbcache.package file? Or just remove and re-download Mods?

I did not mean to type iOS, my apologies. I deleted the localthumbcache.package file. I have now repeated these steps a total of 5 times. I’m at the point where I probably won’t play the game again.

      Yes, I have tried this as well. I just re downloaded a bunch of my cc and it has started saying everything was corrupt again. This is really disheartening because I live this game so much. I’m not sure what cc is causing this because it works fine and then stops loading the game even after I have taken out the cc

        Right, so your game works as expected without any CC?

        Have you created a symlink to store your Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 folder on an external drive? If you don't understand the question the answer is probably no.
