CC crashing the game

After the new pack update, my game has been crashing everytime I try to use CC on it. It works without CC, but as soon as I put it into my mods folder, the game doesn't respond. Even non-script cc just refuses to work. What do I do?

    Please try this:

    1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
    2. Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save. Check your CC Options.
    3. Exit
    4. Download one new piece of CC -- a recent release, not something old
    5. Install that one piece
    6. Check if that's working now

    okay, adding onto this, it's not working with ANY of my previously downloaded CC, only the newly downloaded one... how do I fix that

    Sounds like you have issues with the actual files, then. Had you moved them between computers at some point, maybe? That's the most likely time for something to go wrong. Unfortunately, the only fix I know of is to redownload new.
