The mods/cc files should not be have been deleted from the mods folder by the game when repairing the game or updating. I am not sure why it has occurred with some simmers, but there has been simmers that have posted that it has occured in their games.
The best precaution is to move the mods folder before updating. The simmers that have posted the issues, have had their files deleted when updating not repairing the game.
It is not good that it has occurred in some simmers games.
