Are you playing on a laptop?
If so, turn off laptop mode (check to make sure it's off). CC (especially the hair) does not like laptop mode.
You may have to decide if you want to be able to play your game (hence the need for laptop mode) or if you want that CC (by turning off laptop mode).
If this isn't the issue, then I suppose it could just be poorly made CC or something.
