CC in my mods folder, but not showing up in game?

I just downloaded some mods/cc into my mods folder, I have the allow custom content and script mods checked, but none of my mods are showing up. I don't get the pop-up screen at the beginning, they d...

    @shoov2001 

    Your game might search for mods in a different location than where your mods are actually stored. Don't worry, that happens quite often.

    Please check the folder, where the game is looking for your files.

    1. Launch your game to the main menu
    2. Select "Load Game" from the navigation bar on the right
    3. Click on your most recent save. You will see a small icon that looks like two overlapping squares next to the save game's thumbnail.
    4. Hover with your mouse over the that Icon . A pop up will show you the path where your Sims 4 user folder can be found

    Note that with that method you'll get the path to your saves. Default value is \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves

    Your mods should be in a different subdirectory. Default value is \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods

    Compare the path with the path you're currently using for your mods. If you use another folder, copy your mods to the mods folder, where the game can find them.
